The client strategy team is right at the face of everything we do at Hype. The team is responsible for the delivery of all work, the retention of business through effective client management and ultimately the growth and success of our clients.


As a member of the Hype client strategy team, you will lead our client engagements. You will identify their business problems and understand how to leverage our core service offering to meet their needs and build successful long-term partnerships. You will help to develop ‘big ideas’ as part of the strategic and creative process and work alongside our global team and specialist departments to bring these to life.

Responsibilities 

 

Ensure solid retention of clients by creating marketing strategies that deliver success:

Understand clients needs, thinking strategically about their problems and how our marketing services can help

Work closely with Growth Strategists in creating the marketing strategy, selling it to clients and winning their trust. You will be expected to have a solid grasp of marketing channels and tactics used in crypto and how to best utilize them for your clients.

Coordinate with department heads and the core marketing team to ensure the strategy is understood and executed on, while making sure workstreams are completed on time and to the highest possible standards

Identify, qualify and create new opportunities by:

Stay up to date on market trends and understanding the needs of our clients as they move through their different phases of growth: from pre-launch to start-up to scale-up

Capitalize on opportunities for growth by proactively planning campaigns with core marketing teams, influencing and guiding client's marketing initiatives

Drive and manage the upsell process by working with the Client Services and Strategy Director to qualify new client opportunities, develop proposals and expand our scope of work with new or existing services

Become a trusted pair of hands to clients and within Hype, driving overall business success:

Be the primary point of contact for clients and the voice for them internally to ensure they are receiving maximum value from their partnership with Hype

Establish a nimble way of working with your different clients to ensure we deliver best-in-class service regardless of the size, location or style of client

Maintain a high level of productivity, managing multiple competing priorities and timezones, and working effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment

Identify opportunities for Hype to grow. We are a fast-growing business in a fast-growing industry; defining the marketing playbook for crypto projects around the world.     3-5 years experience retaining and expanding client accounts through value based solutions

    Demonstrable evidence of track record of client services success in the digital, marketing, consulting or other professional services environment: exceeding targets; reduced churn, recognition amongst peers, awards

    Track record of building relationships with senior line-of-business and digital marketing, executives and management within an entrepreneurial, well-funded start-up or scale up environment.

    Understanding and ability to evidence the use of data and insight as a lever and differentiator in sales opportunities.

    Passion for working with emerging technologies and a desire to deeply understand and demonstrate Hype’s skills and functionality, use cases, as well as business and technical elements

    Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills

    Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth company where change is a constant

    Highly driven individual with an exemplary work ethic

    Able to function independently, as well as collaboratively with Hype team members

    Passionate about developing and delivering exceptional outcomes and results for clients

    A strong desire to quickly understand and grow high level knowledge of our industry

     

     

    Nice to Have:
    • Agency/consulting background

      Connected to other crypto networks, KOLs and communities

      Experience being in DAOs and with governance proposals.

      Experience with managing questing, whitelisting, airdrop campaigns

      Written proficiency in other languages
