Account Executive
Assemble is a company that helps enterprise leaders make informed decisions through trusted peer insights. The Account Executive will be responsible for contacting top-level decision-makers, managing a pipeline of sales opportunities, and building long-term relationships to drive membership growth.
Responsibilities
- Contact top-level decision-making leaders to join our membership communities
- Talk with prospects and gain an understanding of their challenges and goals, while pitching a highly valuable, yet intangible solution
- Manage pipeline of sales opportunities with ability to strategize conversion plans including navigating enterprise level procurement processes
- Identify new business opportunities from a range of sources
- Ability to cold call, conduct outreach, and schedule with prospects
- Meet or exceed quarterly quota
- Build deep, long-term, empathetic relationships
- Keep up to date with member stories & activities, current industry trends, market activities, the competitive landscape
- Demonstrate passion and energy, both externally with the customer and internally with our team
- Strong collaboration skills in working in across departments
Skills
- 1-3 years of sales experience (or equivalent commercial experience in fundraising, marketing, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple formats including phone, email and social media
- General business acumen and understanding of Fortune 1000 companies
- Self-motivated, determined, and driven with keen ability to problem solve
- Ambitious results-oriented individual with entrepreneurial drive who is accountable for his/her success
- Ability and willingness to make cold calls to senior-level executives
- Professional presence, especially when dealing with prospects and members
