Account Executive: Responsible for building relationships with clients and facility managers, in order to sell HVAC Service Agreements, Time Quoted Work, Turnkey Contracting and other project work. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with HVAC systems and possess knowledge of the Washington, DC marketplace. In addition, this individual will have experience developing new markets for an established and successfully growing business, as well as continuously striving to create win-win outcomes that improve our clients' business and create long-term and value-based partnerships.

What you will do:

Follows an effective sales process that includes targeting new clients for Boland

Utilizes the sales process to qualify and identify client needs, communicating vision, up-front contracts, developing solutions, presenting benefits, and closing the sale

Drives the account management process, which includes development of client account profiles, account strategies, service delivery plan, client budget planning, and scheduled business reviews with all new and future assigned accounts

Develops and implements client account and territory sales plans designed to qualify sales opportunities and prioritize efforts

Identifies and communicates issues, business goals, and objectives to sales management for all assigned accounts

Calls on individuals responsible for purchasing, operating, and maintaining HVAC systems, including Executive / C-Suite as required

Identifies opportunities by evaluating building system improvements and services that can help clients achieve successful business (economic) outcomes and solve related problems

Inspires clients to take action by creating and communicating a vision based on real outcomes of a successfully implemented project

Qualifies opportunities quickly and utilizes sales pipeline tools in Salesforce.com

Surveys sites for equipment maintenance requirements

Prepare quotes, proposals, service contracts, and documents to complete a sale

Provides needed information to the Service and Contracts Administration Department to ensure jobs are completed and booked on time

Facilitates and completes service contract and project turnover meetings with Sales and Operations colleagues

Works effectively with supporting team members including other salespersons, project developers, project managers, and client service representatives

Identify opportunities to partner with local and regional contractors, engineering firms, architects, and other organizations

Maintains knowledge of marketplace issues, industry trends, competitive information, client expectations, public policy and other market drivers

Communicates voice of client by gathering feedback and sharing with management

Other duties as assigned

 

What we're looking for:

Bachelor's degree and minimum of five-years related sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experienced with MS Office

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, clients and the general public.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Valid driver's license and proof of active auto insurance.

 

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard, and telephone and effectively communicate with others. The associate frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
