Account Manager-Gulf
Overview
We are seeking an Account Manager to initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers with the goal of expanding the Company’s footprint. This role involves market analysis, sales growth initiatives, operational oversight, and safety compliance, as well as maximizing revenue. Coordinates with supply chain, sales, and customer service staff to ensure product availability, timely deliveries, and cost efficiency.
Reports to: Business Director-Gulf
Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiate, develop, and maintain customer relationships to expand company footprint
Negotiate and manage contracts to meet or exceed revenue targets
Coordinate with Customer Service, Supply Chain and logistics for contract and spot sale supply
Providing upper management with information on market and supply development
Input for sales and volume budget/forecast process
Maintain and manage offtake supply contracts and agreements
Recognize and help Develop acquisition opportunities to optimize supply footprint
Strategic problem solving for logistics, supply, and pricing that ensures objective goals
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5 to 7 years industrial chemical sales experience with contract negotiation and business development experience in sulfuric acid industry is a plus
Chemical Distribution and Chemical producer experience
Experience with Sulfuric Acid supply chain
Experience in bulk liquids handling with both truck and rail
Strong business acumen
Ability to respond and work independently and remotely
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a collaborative work style
Work in a fast-paced environment with ever changing situations
Professional and personal integrity
Job requires local and overnight travel (50-70%)
