Accountant

One80 Intermediaries is part of Arrowhead Intermediaries, a global insurance distribution platform. The Accountant will manage various accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily premium accounting functions of the Brokerage and Programs accounting team
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Support the unclaimed property process
• Support audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
