Accounting Manager (remote)

HIRING: Accounting Manager - 100% Remote

LHH is partnering with a growing, mission-driven organization that's investing heavily in its accounting function as it continues to scale through acquisitions and expansion.

This is a high-impact Accounting Manager role with real ownership, technical depth, and direct visibility to leadership

Compensation + Benefits
• $120-130K salary
• Strong W/L balance: 40-hour typical weeks (slightly higher during close cycles)

Responsibilities
• Lead month-end + year-end close
• Own balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and financial accuracy
• Review work of senior/staff accountants and drive quality standards
• Serve as technical accounting lead for complex non/routine items (M&A, leases, intercompany, consolidations, etc.)
• Research & document accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP
• Partner cross functionally (finance, ops, compliance, etc.)
• Support audit process and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Drive process improvements and play a role in ongoing ERP optimization

Qualifications
• Bachelor's in Accounting required
• CPA preferred (or showing progress towards completion)
• ~5+ years of experience (Big-4 & Top-10 public accounting strongly preferred)
• Prior leadership or mentorship experience
• Strong technical accounting foundation & ability to navigate ambiguity
• Experience in multi-entity environments
