This role will report directly to the firm's Founders. This position provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the Real Estate Investment and Development teams to develop and execute strategic, data driven real estate decisions that optimize their commercial real estate portfolio. You will join a growing firm that is poised to take advantage of the exceptional economic and population growth across Texas. This position offers a flexible schedule, and can require long hours.
Job Responsibilities
Support the Partners and Associates in their day-to-day work, which shall encompass financial, diligence and administrative responsibilities.Manage third party Property Managers and Leasing Agents to maximize value of industrial, retail and office portfolioMonitor and analyze asset performance by identifying opportunities and risks, and then executing plan to optimize performanceDevelop financial reporting with property management team to share with investors and lendersPrepare annual Property budgets and forecasts for investments, along with annual CAM reconciliations with third party vendorsDrive lease negotiations and renewals to maximize occupancy percentage, Net Operating Income and cash flowProvide regular timely reporting and communication to internal and external stakeholdersSupport acquisition and disposition initiatives, including diligence, financing and closing
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in a real estate, finance, accounting, economics or related field5+ years of acquisitions experience (Retail, office, industrial or land)1+ years of experience in commercial real estate asset management Must have experience in non-residential assets including industrial, retail and office propertyStrong financial and analytical skills including proficiency in Excel and ArgusAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced high-growth environmentStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred - Experience working for a real estate fund
