Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to serve as the primary execution owner for our Amazon Vendor Central AVS/Spark account, fully taking over the responsibilities typically handled by an AVS CSM while also supporting core 1P Vendor Central operational tasks.
This role is responsible for end-to-end execution across Amazon retail operations, ensuring strong performance in inventory, orders, issue resolution, and retail readiness. Training on Vendor Central can be provided.
Primary Goal
Fully execute AVS CSM responsibilities while supporting Vendor Central 1P operations to maximize Amazon retail performance, improve Net PPM, and maintain strong instock and operational health across the account.
Top Responsibilities
Own and execute all AVS CSM-type responsibilities (case management, issue escalation, performance tracking, and Amazon coordination)
Manage Vendor Central 1P operations including PO tracking, shortages, chargebacks, and operational issue resolution
Maintain high instock performance through forecasting coordination and supply chain follow-up
Serve as the primary point of contact between Amazon (AVS/Vendor Support) and internal teams
Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics (instock %, Net PPM, revenue, chargebacks)
Ensure accurate and timely execution of all Amazon-related operational tasks
Proactively identify and resolve account issues before they impact performance
Key Challenges
Acting as the de facto AVS CSM without Amazon-side ownership/control
Managing both strategic AVS execution and tactical 1P operational workload
Navigating slow Amazon support response times and fragmented communication
Maintaining instock levels despite forecast variability and supply chain delays
Resolving chargebacks, shortages, and data inconsistencies
Managing delays in internal inputs (especially common in foodservice brands)
Required Skills & Experience
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/Google Sheets ability
Experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or eCommerce support
High attention to detail with strong process discipline
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple parallel workflows
Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive tasks end-to-end
Fast learner with ability to quickly adapt to Amazon systems
Preferred (Not Required) Experience
Prior Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central experience
Exposure to AVS, retail media, or Amazon vendor programs
Background in supply chain, finance, or operations roles
Experience supporting US-based clients remotely
