About the position
Responsibilities
- Independently interfacing with key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate analysis that drive business objectives and targets
- Performs analysis to drive change within the business
- Identify, quantify and propose risk/reward trade-off of recommendations
- Developing strategy and associated performance analysis that achieve business objects and results
- Provide analytical and data support in the design and review of strategy tests and current operations
- Leading analytics projects which require technical sophistication and the ability to navigate ambiguity
- Performing ad hoc analysis and quickly provide results and recommendations
- Engage in a culture of Diversity and Inclusion
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required in quantitative field - Finance, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics
- 1+ years' experience in similar advanced analytics position required
- 1+ years' experience using SQL, Python, SAS or similar tools to mine and analyze large data sets
- 1+ years' experience in building statistical models and deriving business strategies leveraging the models
- 1+ years' experience developing business strategies based on data analyses
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop and execute small to medium scale projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present material
- Work well within a team of analysts and collaborate with individuals with technical and non-technical backgrounds
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree in business or quantitative field
- Experience in automotive or financial services industry
- Experience with segmentation software such as Model builder, knowledge seeker or R preferred
- Experience with designing and implementing champion challenger strategies
