ANALYST I
State Compensation Insurance Fund is California’s largest provider of workers’ compensation insurance, established in 1914. They are seeking a highly motivated Analyst I to assist in researching, planning, and administering various Business Services initiatives, supporting contracts, budgets, and analyses.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in researching, planning, and administering various Business Services initiatives
- Supporting contracts, budget, travel, processing invoices, crafting reports, conducting analyses, projects, and offering input on recommendations made to the Business Services leadership team
Skills
- Highly adept in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI, MS Teams and various apps/technology/software
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of following through and delivering quality results
- Proven ability to assess and understand issues, interpret policies or data, and quickly identify the best possible solution(s)
- Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication skills and ability to gain consensus/cooperation of others
- Superb interpersonal skills; collaborates with others through vision, prioritization, and detailed execution
- Demonstrated ability to act independently while exercising sound judgment, flexibility, patience, tact, and diplomacy

- Must be willing to work a flexible working schedule - arriving early or departing late on occasion
- Familiarity with the contracting process and the administration of travel programs
- The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment
- Selected candidate(s) hired may be required to attend in-person Onboarding at our Vacaville office with expenses for attendance paid by State Fund
