The Analyst of Technology Strategy and Innovation will support the relationship between Data & Technology and Investment teams, ensuring alignment between technology and business objectives while driving innovation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Support the manager to develop and maintain customer technology roadmaps with the products and initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and technological feasibility
  • Support the Facilitation of Steering Committees (SteerCos): Support during executive-level meetings with business and technology stakeholders to align on roadmaps, manage expectations, and report on program health
  • Anticipate the technology implications of investment strategies (e.g., entering new asset classes) and proactively propose architectural solutions
  • Bridge the gap between business agility and IT governance, ensuring rapid delivery without compromising stability or compliance
  • Proactively engaging with our customers to understand and document their business objectives, processes, unique challenges, opportunities, and identify ways in which technology can address and enhance their operations
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback and usage data of various D&T services to understand customer needs and pain points
  • Assist or lead with the development of recommendations and executive level presentations of various product and services applicable to customers based on their needs
  • Champion the adoption of core technology programs and AI tools to deliver on the D&T team’s collaborative priorities
  • Partner with developers to ensure the final build matches the specific nuance of the requirements gathered from business teams
  • Coordinate technology projects, working with different D&T stakeholders to implement solutions for the investment teams
  • Support Proof of Concepts using technical and business analysis skills before handing off to core engineering teams
  • Identify high-value use cases for Generative AI and Predictive Modeling to automate manual workflows or generate investment insights
  • Proactively engage with business leaders to identify innovative opportunities for technology to drive business growth and assist with the development of business-specific technology strategy maps that drive strategic direction
  • Stay current on FinTech trends and emerging investment technologies to keep the firm at the competitive edge
  • Synthesize findings and present clear recommendations to leadership
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with the Data and Technology & Business teams
  • Energized by achieving goals in a collaborative environment
  • Prioritize strong and effective cross-collaboration across Data and Technology
  • Collaborate with the Technology Product and Services team to drive our business goals forward
  • Leverage D&T’s technical expertise to ensure our technology programs are not only innovative but also strategically aligned with the evolving needs of the business
  • Share learnings with D&T to drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science, business etc
  • 1-3 years of experience in technology driven roles
  • 1-3 years of strategy, consulting, tech, product management, business systems analysis or other relevant experience within the financial services sector
  • Excellent organization, communication, problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communicator. Ability to create presentations and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an environment with competing priorities
  • Proven experience in a team where technology & business partner for a common objective
  • Basic understanding of business operations, market dynamics, and technology trends
  • Demonstrate curiosity in business processes to challenge the established thinking and help generate new ideas and approaches to problem solving
  • Experience working with AI tools
  • Experience or knowledge with different data platforms, data strategy, or data governance is an asset
