Analyst/Senior Analyst, HQ Sales Finance & Planning
Danone is a leading food and beverage company, and they are seeking a dynamic and motivated Finance Analyst to join their HQ Sales Finance & Planning team. In this role, you will act as a liaison between the HQ team and various finance divisions, managing financial analyses and supporting the monthly close process.
Responsibilities
- Manage Vol/Mix/Price analysis weekly, during forecast process and monthly close. Variance analysis vs. prior rolling forecast and prior year
- Lead monitoring of total trade expenditure with sales divisions to ensure promotion planning accuracy
- Act as an internal expert through Rolling Forecast (RF) and monthly close processes, providing guidance and support to Divisional Sales Finance teams
- Manage relationships and communications with BU finance teams, providing Gross to Net P&L analysis including R&Os
- Serve as key point of contact for HQ Sales Finance requests. Prepare monthly presentations for BU teams
- Develop Power BI reports and automate existing models to enhance reporting efficiency
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field is required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to navigate grey areas
- Ability to recognize opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies
- MS Excel proficiency and strong MS PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within a CPG environment, strongly preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in finance
