JOB OVERVIEW:

This role serves as a client-facing design lead responsible for translating customer needs into functional, high-quality architectural and equipment planning solutions. The position partners closely with Equipment Sales Specialists and cross-functional teams to develop and execute design strategies aligned with client goals and business objectives. This role requires strong space planning and technical design skills, collaboration across multiple stakeholders, and the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, dynamic project environments while maintaining accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Field & Customer Support (80%)

Serve as a client-facing design lead, translating customer needs into practical architectural and equipment planning solutions

Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to develop and execute design strategies that support client and project goals

Coordinate with Equipment Specialists, clients, architects, contractors, and consultants across all project phases

Develop detailed floor plans incorporating zoning, adjacencies, circulation, accessibility, life safety codes, and construction standards

Produce accurate equipment specification plans for dental equipment installation

Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining quality, efficiency, and attention to detail

Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to improve design outcomes

Apply solution-oriented problem-solving in fast-paced project environments

Support training and development of Equipment Specialists through updates on processes, tools, and resources

Team Collaboration (20%)

Participate in collaboration sessions, training, design panels, and departmental updates

Promote knowledge sharing and engagement across internal platforms

Utilize collaboration and task management tools to support alignment and communication

Support departmental initiatives and special projects that enhance value-added services and support overall team and client success

Uphold department policies, standards, and best practices

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree (minimum) in interior architecture, architecture, architectural drafting, or related field

Experience in architectural or interior design with strong space planning knowledge

Ability to function as a client-facing design lead translating needs into functional solutions

Strong understanding of zoning, adjacencies, circulation, accessibility, life safety codes, and construction practices

Proficiency in floor plan development and creation of construction documentation

Mastery of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, and Revit; 3D modeling experience a plus

Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Excellent communication skills with ability to convey technical concepts clearly

Strong collaboration skills across sales, clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams

Self-starter with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

High attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy

Familiarity with collaboration and task management tools

Commitment to professional standards and workplace policies

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 2 to 4 years of related professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $56,604 - $88,443 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to be fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range
