The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited will be responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within a designated geographical area. This role involves building strong customer relationships, promoting pharmaceutical products, and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
* Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and clinical data to potential and existing customers.
* Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
* Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports.
* Organize and participate in medical conferences, product launches, and other promotional activities.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
* Manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
* Collaborate with marketing and medical teams to optimize product positioning and promotional efforts.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
* Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, product knowledge, and industry regulations.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build rapport and establish trust with healthcare professionals.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
* Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
* Fluency in English and the local language(s) of the assigned region.
