Summary: The Assistant Marketing Manager - Social Media is responsible for executing DHC USA’s social media content and supporting influencer and campaign initiatives. This role ensures consistent, high-quality content publishing, community engagement, and operational support for social marketing activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Content Execution & Publishing

Create, schedule and publish content across social platforms

Format and prepare content for platform-specific requirements

Maintain content calendar accuracy and adherence

Content Creation Support

Ideate, create and edit video and image assets for social use being the originator and user of third party content

Assist in caption writing and content optimization

Support development of social-ready assets

Community Management

Monitor and respond to comments and messages

Escalate issues to appropriate teams

Support community engagement initiatives

Influencer Coordination Support

Track influencer content and campaign timelines

Support communication and logistics for creator partnerships

Maintain influencer and content records

Performance Tracking

Pull and organize social performance data

Support reporting and analytics processes

Creator Outreach Support

Assist with influencer outreach and communication logistics directly or indirectly using tools/partners

Confirm shipping details and manage follow-ups

Maintain outreach tracking and response logs

Competencies and Qualifications

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Strong understanding of social media platforms and content formats

Experience with content scheduling tools and social media workflows

Basic content creation and editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to execute against defined strategies and timelines

Strong written communication skills for captions and engagement

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Basic understanding of social media metrics and performance tracking

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred

1–3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing

Experience with social media platforms and tools required

Interest in beauty, skincare, or lifestyle categories preferred

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must demonstrate proficiency with Office 365 tools, search engines, Company communication tools, and Company WMS systems. Advanced Excel skills are required. SQL skills are preferred.
