RAVL helps technologists accelerate their careers, and they are seeking an ambitious Associate Engineer ready to enhance their skills. The role involves mentorship, formal training, and hands-on experience to support personal and professional growth in technology.
Responsibilities
- Completing training activities focused on building your capabilities
- Putting training into practice in your pod (supported by a Senior Engineer)
- Shipping working code to support overall delivery with a focus on continuous improvement of your capabilities and output
- Collaborating with your assigned mentor on your current progress and future focuses
- Grabbing the keyboard and digging in
Skills
- You apply strong analytical skills to complex technical challenges and push to make the uncomfortable, comfortable
- You have formal education or previous experience working in technology
- You're comfortable writing and reviewing code in at least one language
- You demonstrate ownership of what you build and take pride in your work
- You embrace roadblocks and take the initiative to get things done
- Empathy comes naturally to you
- Security & Compliance: OWASP basics, secure API handling, RBAC for UI
