The Associate Project Manager will assist in planning and executing projects, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure successful product commercialization from ideation to market launch.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects
  • To participate in the creation of new products and maintaining current portfolio
  • Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables
  • Heavy focus on analyzing and maintaining data
  • To organize and maintain backend administrative elements of item setups
  • Conducting administrative duties, organizing project meetings, ensuring all key stakeholders agree to what they need to do and are meeting deliverables
  • Tracking and reporting project progress
  • Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner
  • Work with Marketing, Procurement, and Operations teams to help plan projects and related timelines in advance and to develop key project success criteria
  • Constructively collaborate and help trouble-shoot and resolve conflicts
  • Foster teamwork and enthusiasm and celebrate success
  • Liaise with multiple functions regularly, outside of weekly project meetings, to build relationships, collaboratively solve problems and drive to project completion. Functions include Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Graphic/Design, Packaging, R&D, Demand Planning, Finance, Logistics, Operations, Engineering and outside vendors as appropriate
  • Build positive internal customer relationships, works effectively with team members, peers and management both internally and externally
  • Display a positive behavior, professional manner, and a willingness to be a team player and assist others at all levels

Skills

  • College degree, preferably specialized in Business, Business Administration of Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering
  • 1-2 years of experience in project management or a related role
  • Demonstrated leadership and ethics; demonstrated ability to hold others accountable for delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting, including demonstrated ability in building and managing teams
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills; able to establish good working relationships with employees at all levels, resolve conflict and provide feedback, and to devise and implement creative solutions to problems
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written; demonstrated ability to speak up appropriately and to raise issues to teams and senior management
  • Capacity to manage high stress situations
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
  • Big-picture thinking and vision
  • Demonstrates Advanced software skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or similar programs
  • Track record of delivering results
  • Organization, attention to detail and follow through
  • Ability to Prioritize critical tasks across multiple departments
  • Ability to thrive in situations of complexity and ambiguity while functioning at a high level of productivity in a fast paced and dynamic environment
