This position typically starts at $12.00 per hour (plus tips) and works a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and full‑time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days.

As a Bar Porter, you’ll help keep the good times flowing in our fast‑paced, high‑volume sports bar environment by ensuring bar areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked so bartenders can focus on delivering great drinks and exceptional guest experiences. You’ll restock ice, garnishes, and supplies, assist with bar setup and breakdown, support inventory needs, uphold health and safety standards, and might occasionally help with basic drink prep under supervision. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in a clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, readytoserve attitude.

    Greets guests and team members warmly and professionally in support of our Family Style Service culture.

    Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all bar areas, including counters, floors, sinks, glassware, equipment, coolers, and storage spaces.

    Restocks ice, garnishes, glassware, napkins, and other supplies; maintains par levels and rotates products by checking expiration dates. Replenishes products including changing kegs and bag-in-the box soda. 

    Assist bartenders with bar station setup, breakdown, and restocking during peak periods.

    Receives, organizes, and stores bar deliveries and inventory; removes trash and recyclables safely and regularly.

    Follows outlet policies and procedures for operational flow and reports equipment issues or safety hazards promptly.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or bar support preferred but not required

    Must be 18 years of age or older

    Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays regularly

    Proficient in English verbal and written

    Must obtain a food handlers permit.

    Must be able to pass background check

    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and push or pull up to 75 pounds

    Ability to stand and maneuver in confined areas for extended periods and stand/walk entire shift.

    Ability to work in a sometimes noisy, smokey environment including loud music and flashing lights. 

    Ability to work in varying temperature environments (hot and cold)

    Strong teamwork and communication skills

    Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
