Bridge Carbon is a global, end‑to‑end carbon project developer operating across Africa and Asia. We deliver high‑quality, high‑integrity carbon offsets directly from the source, supported by a proprietary technology platform that ensures transparency, traceability, and verifiable climate impact.

Our work is grounded in respect, integrity, accountability, community partnership, and transparency. These values guide every decision we make — from how we design projects to how we treat people.

We are seeking an experienced Biomass Resource Assessment Lead to support a high-impact clean cooking initiative in Angola.

This is a project-based role focused on the viability of a decentralized biomass pellet programme at scale.

While the role will involve field deployment in Angola, we are open to candidates based globally, provided they bring the right technical expertise, language capability, and willingness to travel.

The Role

You will lead the programme, assessing:

Biomass availability and sustainable supply potential

Feedstock suitability for pellet production

Supply chain risks, seasonality, and competing uses

Logistics, transport radius, and delivered cost modelling

Preliminary pellet production economics vs. alternative fuels

Your work will directly inform a strategic decision and shape the future of clean cooking in the region.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in biomass, bioenergy, or renewable energy project development

Strong understanding of biomass supply chains, feedstock assessment, and logistics modelling

Experience in early-stage feasibility or techno-economic analysis

Ability to operate in emerging markets / low-data environments

Strong stakeholder engagement and fieldwork experience

Why Join This Project

Play a key role in a large-scale clean cooking initiative with real environmental and social impact

Work at the intersection of energy access, carbon, and circular economy

Contribute to a Decision Gate study that will shape investment and implementation strategy

Collaborate with international stakeholders across energy, sustainability, and development sectors

This role is critical in determining the viability of the biomass pellet program. The outputs will directly inform investment decisions, shape program design, and define whether the project progresses to full techno-commercial feasibility.
