Position Overview:
The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making, operational performance, and compliance tracking across a fast-paced human services program(s). This role partners closely with program leadership, case management teams, and operational stakeholders to analyze workflows, monitor performance metrics, and ensure timely reporting aligned with regulatory and service delivery requirements.
 The ideal candidate thrives in a rapid-response environment, demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and is comfortable supporting operations that require quick turnaround, high accuracy, and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data including intake, discharge, service delivery, and program performance metrics
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and tracking tools to support real-time decision-making
Ensure accuracy and completeness of data across systems supporting client flow and service delivery
Operational Support & Process Improvement
Evaluate workflows related to intake, case management, and service coordination to identify efficiencies and gaps
Support development and refinement of policies, SOPs, and process documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery timelines and outcomes
Compliance & Documentation
Support adherence to applicable federal, state, and programmatic standards related to care and custody services
Assist in monitoring quality control metrics and ensuring documentation meets audit and reporting standards
Track and support corrective actions for identified risks or deficiencies
Stakeholder Collaboration
Serve as a liaison between program leadership, operations teams, and technical stakeholders
Facilitate communication and alignment across distributed teams in a remote environment
Support preparation of deliverables, reports, and presentations for leadership
Rapid Response & Ad Hoc Analysis
Conduct quick-turn data analysis in support of urgent operational needs
Assist leadership with real-time decision support during critical or high-volume periods
Maintain flexibility to adapt to evolving program demands and priorities

Required Qualifications & Core Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Data Analytics, Social Services, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical/operations role
Experience supporting high-volume, time-sensitive operations with strict reporting requirements
Strong proficiency in:
Data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Process mapping and workflow analysis
Documentation and reporting standards

Ability to manage multiple priorities with fast turnaround expectations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
High level of professionalism when working with sensitive or confidential information

Employees must adhere to all federal security, confidentiality, and operational protocols while working within government facilities. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Internal background check to the satisfaction of contract requirements.

Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods while conducting work duties
