Surface Experts is an all-inclusive surface repair service provider, and they are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative. The role involves connecting with property managers, assessing opportunities, and educating them on services while managing a flexible sales route.

Responsibilities

  • You will choose your sales route with an average of 15 appointments per day (all leads are provided)
  • During each appointment with the apartment complex property manager, you will
  • Build rapport with the property manager
  • Walk through a unit to assess opportunities
  • Educate on our services and book repairs
  • Review sales routes, prepare calls, and perform minimal administrative tasks

Skills

  • Strong rapport skills and persistence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Smart Phone
  • Valid driver's license, clean record, and reliable transportation
  • Sales experience is preferred
  • Goal-oriented, self-starter who is coachable and eager to learn
  • Enjoys connecting with people and working in a team environment
  • Preference for candidates with property or facilities management backgrounds
  • No prior sales experience required, we provide all training; however previous sales experience is a plus
  • Professional, caring, and service-minded
  • Ready to thrive in a metrics-based, process-driven sales system
  • Strong communication skills — bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
