About the Role

SearchStax is looking for a results-driven and proactive Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. As a BDR, you will generate qualified sales leads through targeted outbound outreach in key verticals (healthcare or higher education), using a combination of personalized outreach, social selling, and strategic follow-up. This is a high-impact role that contributes directly to the growth and success of our sales pipeline.

What You Will Do
  • Conduct outbound prospecting efforts, including calls, emails, and LinkedIn posts and outreach to targeted decision-makers

    Develop and execute personalized outreach campaigns using SalesLoft, Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and similar tools to identify and engage key contacts

    Build and nurture relationships with prospects through value-driven follow-up communications

    Leverage Gong to analyze conversations and continuously improve messaging

    Attend Zoom or live events and contribute to pipeline opportunities

    What You Must Have 
    • 1–3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles

      Strong verbal and written communication skills

      Experience with Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo

      Ability to develop and deliver tailored messaging to specific verticals

      Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

      Experience in or familiarity with Healthcare or Higher Education sectors a plus

      Knowledge of B2B SaaS or technology solutions a plus

      Prior exposure to sales intelligence tools and metrics-driven environments a plus

        Pay Transparency
        • Base Salary: The base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 ($31.25 - $38.46 /hour) plus commissions of approximately $15,000-$20,000 per year.

          Salary Structure: Our salary ranges are determined by market analysis and are designed to evolve with job performance over time.
