The Opportunity
MGO is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our Marketing & Growth team. In this role, you will serve as the primary, day-to-day owner of inbound and targeted/warm lead intake validation, and routing in support of the firm's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary, day-to-day owner of inbound inquiry monitiroing and initial qualification
Respond to and engae inbound inquiries that are often cold at first touch via phone, email, and digital outreach
Validate inbound inquiries against segment alignment, service relevance, and opporunity fit using established criteria
Support execution of signal-based and targeted outreach initiatives by managing intake templates, conducting research, validating opportunity context, diligence for pre-reads, and initiating first touch engagement aligned to different market triggers
Prepare concise briefing notes for partners ahead of signal curation calls, introductory meetings, including background, signal context, and potential service alignment
Manage continuous lead intake and follow-up activities across both inbound and targeted channels as a full-time responsibility.
Conduct consistent prospect outreach to support timely lead qualification and routing
Particpate in pipeline, cadence, signal and lead review meetings as requrested
Qualifications:
Associates or bachelors degee in relatd discipline
2 - 3 years of sales experience, ideally in the accounting industry
Proficiency with digital lead generation and management tools
Experience with HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) preferred
A sales or business mindset
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 + Bonus programs
