Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and driven Business Intelligence Engineer to join our data team in India. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making. This is a great opportunity to work on complex data challenges, contribute to infrastructure improvements, and help shape the future of BI within our organization.

 

What You Will Do

Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and understand data requirements

Design, develop, test, and deploy robust business intelligence solutions

Define and document data models, structures, and data flows

Ensure data quality, completeness, and consistency across systems

Contribute to the growth and scalability of our data infrastructure

Perform troubleshooting and provide support for existing BI tools and systems

Participate in code reviews and promote best practices within the team

Provide 24/7 production support as part of the team’s on-call rotation

Work effectively across multiple time zones with minimal supervision



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or data warehousing

    Strong proficiency in ETL pipelines and Python

    Advanced SQL skills including complex queries and performance tuning

    Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS and Snowflake

    Experience integrating and processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources

    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data design skills

    Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience with star schema design including fact tables, grain levels, and slowly changing dimensions (SCDs)

    Knowledge of multiple database programming languages and both relational and columnar database systems

    Familiarity with the Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, Power BI, Azure)

    Experience with Matillion ,  Databricks and PySpark

    Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
