 The Business Process Analyst IV works with business leaders to strategize, plan, and execute on establishing business capabilities and processes for their business and identifying improvements needed to streamline and optimize their business operations. This level focuses on leadership, strategy, and planning for multiple areas, modeling and analyzing 3-4 fairly complex processes, and contributing to continuous improvements for the team.

 

About the Role:

 Leadership

Serves as the leader for assigned areas and processes, managing stakeholder, business leader, and process owner expectations, providing all necessary information, communicating, ensuring transparency, keeping the community well-informed at all times, gaining approvals when necessary, managing change, and representing the area in meetings and forums.

Works with business leaders, process owners, Business Systems and Business Project Management to ensure awareness, understanding, and collaboration on Business Capability & Process Models.

Works with senior-level stakeholders, business leaders, process owners, and actors involved in process flows to ensure the best possible modeling of processes, leading and organizing discovery, managing resource availability, managing change, managing conflict, making decisions, and utilizing upward escalation as needed.

Establishes, maintains, and adheres to individual Role, Team, and Stakeholder Operating Systems.

Contributes to the achievement of team goals and objectives and leads the achievement of KPI targets (Coverage Index, Quality Index, Effectiveness Index, Efficiency Index, Stakeholder Satisfaction) for assigned processes, ensuring all necessary data has been collected and rolled up.

Participates in identifying, planning, defining, and implementing Continuous Improvements for assigned processes.

Owns achievement of individual goals and objectives in support of team goals and objectives.

Participates in implementing Continuous Improvements for the team, inclusive of improving team charter, team goals and objectives, team service offerings, team KPIs, team dashboards/public shares, team processes (strategy, planning, execution), role definitions, and business process management and backlog best practice standards.

Leads/contributes to a Community of Practice (CoP) for Business Process Analysts.

Provides leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.

Strategy

Works with stakeholders, business leaders, and process owners to establish a Business Process Management Strategy for assigned area, considering business goals and objectives, security and policy compliance, balanced scorecard alignment and area KPIs, business capabilities, process ownership and impact, and required process improvements, and can articulate it to leadership and the area’s community.

Establishes the necessary dashboards/public shares to publish the Business Process Management Strategy and Business Capability Map for assigned area, inclusive of progress.

Leads ad hoc analysis efforts to address challenges or opportunities arising, documenting and communicating final results, and ensuring an action plan is established, as necessary.

Ensures community for assigned processes is following strategy processes.

 

Planning

Works with stakeholders, business leaders, and process owners to establish a Business Process Management Roadmap for assigned area, considering business goals and objectives, security and policy compliance, balanced scorecard alignment and area KPIs, business capabilities, process ownership and impact, and required process improvements, based on resource availability and any constraints, and can articulate it to leadership and the area’s community.

Works with stakeholders, business leaders, and process owners to respond to any important/urgent business needs that arise in assigned area, facilitating tradeoff and re-prioritization discussions and adjusting roadmap.

Establishes the necessary dashboards/public shares to publish the Business Process Management Roadmap for assigned area, inclusive of progress.

Establishes a clearly defined and refined Planning Backlog of capabilities and processes for assigned area, aligned to the roadmap, and adherent to business process management and backlog best practice standards.

Ensures community for assigned processes is following planning processes.

 

Execution

Works with business leaders, process owners, and actors involved in process flows to establish a Business Process Management Discovery Plan for assigned processes, based on roadmap, inclusive of business capability and process flow documentation, process health analysis, and process improvement identification, and can articulate it to leadership and the area’s community.

Establishes the necessary dashboards/public shares to publish the Business Process Management Discovery Plan for assigned processes, inclusive of progress.

Works with business leaders, process owners, and actors involved in process flows to perform discovery on capabilities/processes for assigned processes, facilitating discussions, documenting flows using Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) and capturing required information (e.g. KPIs, data reporting needs, staffing, systems, cycle time, change control, security and policy compliance, current transaction throughput, transaction forecasts, quality), adhering to business process management practice standards.

Works with business leaders, process owners, and actors involved in process flows to perform analysis on process flows for assigned processes, facilitating discussions, leading health analysis, and identifying any improvements needed, adhering to business process management practice standards.

Establishes a clearly defined and refined Backlog of Process Improvements for assigned processes, adhering to backlog best practice standards.

Presents an overview of any completed process analysis and the improvements identified to stakeholders, business leaders, process owners, Business Systems, and Business Project Management, explaining improvements and establishing appropriate initiatives/projects to drive them forward.

Works with business leaders, process owners, Business Systems, and Business Project Management to closeout completion of improvement implementations for assigned processes, assessing outcomes and comparing to intended results and determining need for any additional improvements, updating Process Improvement Backlog appropriately.

Ensures community for assigned processes is following execution processes.

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. Salary Range: $108,900 - $136,000 + Annual bonus
