Full-time

I'm developing a patent-pending consumer home product made from food-grade silicone with a pre-installed embedded metal insert. It's in a well-established consumer hardware category.

Full product renders, patent figures, detailed measurement charts, and a complete CAD brief are ready — but shared only after NDA.

SCOPE (Phase 1 — 3 shapes)
• 3D STEP files per shape (AP214, millimetres, solid body)
• Native CAD file (SolidWorks or Fusion 360)
• 2D technical drawing PDF per shape — all dimensions, tolerances, material callouts, insert pocket detail
• One shape involves a cap-over-stem geometry requiring your split-line recommendation before modeling begins

✅ SKILLS REQUIRED
• Professional CAD — SolidWorks preferred, Fusion 360 accepted
• Silicone, rubber, or soft-goods product experience
• Overmolding and embedded insert cavity design
• Mold split-line and parting line experience (essential)
• STEP AP214 export for manufacturer submission

NDA + IP ASSIGNMENT — MANDATORY
This is a patent-pending product. A Non-Disclosure and IP Assignment Agreement must be signed before any project files, product name, or dimensions are shared. All work product belongs to me as client.

$200–$400 for Phase 1. Follow-on phases available for the right designer.

To apply, please share:
• 2–3 examples of silicone or rubber product CAD work
• Your CAD software of choice
• Confirmation you are comfortable signing NDA/IP assignment before project start
