The CareIQ Coordinating Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of designated operations and staff related to ongoing management and coordination of CareIQ healthcare services. This position functions as a member of the CareIQ Service Coordination leadership team, ensuring optimum team performance by providing exemplary support and assistance to achieve the organizational goal of excellent customer service of the CareIQ Ancillary Care Solutions division of CorVel.  

This is a remote role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Directs team in their day-to-day operations and quality of services provided, focusing on production, timeliness and effective coordination of services

Establishes employee performance goals and follows-up to ensure employees are achieving goals, while providing encouragement and training as needed

Ongoing responsibility for maximizing department quality and productivity by monitoring service levels

Evaluates and maintains appropriate staffing levels to ensure all work is completed within internal and external customer turn-around time expectations

Handles productivity reports, referral reports and assures departmental coverage

Reinforces policies, procedures, work assignments, etc. by leading by example

Reviews, investigates, and resolves customer complaints, issues, and questions

Acts as a functional resource and assists Manager with operations

Collaborates with other departments to ensure process and workflow synergy

Additional duties as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Demonstrated ability to provide superior service to internal and external stakeholders 

Sense of urgency and ability to navigate multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment 

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to work independently, while remaining available to others

Great attention to detail and focus on results

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

At least 2 years of related experience required

Demonstrated progressive leadership experience preferred

 

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market-based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location.  Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors:  federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions.  Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.  The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range:  $23.15 - $34.54 per hour
