**Key Responsibilities**
As a Certified Pharmacy Clerk, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
* Assisting pharmacists in updating patient profiles and entering prescription information into the pharmacy computer, while maintaining patient confidentiality.
* Filling prescriptions under direct pharmacist supervision, including bringing stock bottles, counting, pouring, restocking, labeling, and pricing prescriptions, while following safety and security procedures.
* Preparing third-party insurance claims, processing invoices, and making accounting entries using our computerized system.
* Ordering, receiving, tagging, and stocking prescription drugs and supplies, while following product storage procedures and standards.
* Ordering, receiving, tagging, and stocking over-the-counter products in accordance with our merchandising plan for the department, creating product signs, and conducting over-the-counter roaming.
* Providing remote data entry of prescriptions for all Ontario arenaflex Pharmacies.
* Assisting in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
**Guaranteed Hours and Schedule**
As a Certified Pharmacy Clerk, you can expect to work a guaranteed 25-40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift. Your schedule will be determined in consultation with your manager to ensure that you're able to meet the needs of the team and our customers.
**Qualifications and Experience**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Education/Training: A completed pharmacy diploma from a Community College.
* Licenses/Certifications: A certification as required by the province where applicable.
* Experience: Candidates with current pharmacy experience will be given preference.
* Knowledge/Skills: Preferred knowledge of Kroll software.
