EP Wealth Advisors is seeking an execution-focused Client Marketing Manager to serve as the operational leader and second-in-command within the Client Marketing function.

This is a program implementation role responsible for driving execution across client marketing initiatives, managing agencies, vendors and cross-functional teams, while ensuring complex, multi-channel projects are delivered on time and at a consistently high standard. This individual will translate strategic direction into structured execution while staying ahead of trends in the RIA and wealth management space for the benefit of the clients we serve.  Core responsibilities are described below.

This is a Western U.S.based remote role, with required availability during Pacific and Mountain Time zone business hours to support team and client operations.

Program & Project Ownership
At its core, this role is accountable for turning strategy into action. The Manager will own the planning, sequencing, and execution of major initiatives—bringing structure to ambiguity and ensuring programs move forward with clarity and discipline. This includes managing timelines, aligning stakeholders, anticipating obstacles, and driving initiatives from concept through launch without relying on constant oversight.

Own execution of the annual client marketing roadmap

Build and manage detailed project plans across initiatives

Drive accountability across internal stakeholders and external partners

Anticipate and flag risks, proactively adjusting timelines

Ensure initiatives launch smoothly and predictably

Platform & Agency Management
This role will manage and optimize relationships with external partners and vendors, ensuring scopes are clearly defined, timelines are met, and standards are upheld. The Manager must be comfortable holding agencies accountable, negotiating scope, and balancing quality with cost efficiency.

Serve as primary point of contact for external partners

Manage scopes of work, timelines, budgets, and deliverables

Hold agencies accountable for quality and performance

Optimize vendor relationships for efficiency and cost discipline

Cross-Functional & Technical Fluency
This position operates at the intersection of marketing, operations, product, and technology. The Manager must be able to communicate effectively across disciplines, understand operational implications of marketing initiatives, and align programs with CRM systems and technical workflows. Comfort speaking the language of product and technology teams is essential.

Understand and articulate the operational implications of marketing initiatives

Speak the language of product and technology teams to ensure alignment

Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms) and marketing automation tools

Industry Insight & Voice of the Customer Leadership
This role is not purely operational; it requires curiosity and awareness of industry evolution. The Manager will stay ahead of trends in the RIA and wealth management space and lead implementation of EP’s ongoing “Voice of the Customer” learning agenda. This includes gathering and analyzing client feedback, identifying patterns, and translating insights into actionable program enhancements.

Deep familiarity with the wealth management or RIA space

Performance Measurement & Optimization
The Manager will build and maintain a client marketing performance dashboard that tracks engagement, identifies trends, and surfaces actionable insights for advisors and leadership. The goal is not reporting for its own sake, but continuous refinement and smarter decision-making.

Build and own the client marketing performance dashboard

Track engagement and program performance metrics

Analyze trends and communicate key insights

Identify operational inefficiencies then wolve by implementing process improvements that scale

What Success Looks Like
This is a marketing operational ownership role responsible for driving the execution of EP Wealth’s client marketing programs with structure, accountability, and precision. Success in this role means initiatives launch on time and at a high standard, agencies and vendors are proactively managed and held accountable, cross-functional collaboration runs smoothly, and client marketing programs operate predictably and efficiently at scale. This individual will own complex, multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end – building timelines, coordinating internal teams, and ensuring disciplined follow-through – so that the Director of Client Marketing can focus on long-term strategic evolution.

For clarity, this is not a content writing, graphic design, or social media management role, nor is it a junior coordination position or a strategy-only seat without execution ownership. It is a marketing program owner role accountable for delivery, structure, and measurable outcomes.

Over six years of experience in program management, marketing operations, or client marketing within organizations that support a sophisticated, mature marketing infrastructure in the RIA and wealth management space.

Strong project management and agency management experience

Experience in RIA or wealth management

Confidence operating at the intersection of marketing, product, and technology

Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and digital workflow/project management tools

Strong organizational discipline and executive communication skills

High ownership mentality and bias toward execution

Structured, steady, and decisive

Technically conversant without needing to be an engineer

Comfortable managing complexity across teams

Passionate about improving client experience
