Client Policy Analyst – Governance (Hybrid)
Broadridge is a company dedicated to empowering others to accomplish more. As a Client Policy Analyst for Governance, you will analyze proxy votes and voting trends, supporting both internal teams and external clients in understanding corporate governance practices.
Responsibilities
- Analyze SEC filings and proxy statements to assess corporate practices
- Interpret client policy mandates and apply them to upcoming shareholder meetings
- Contribute to data management and research projects supporting governance analyses
- Leverage analytical tools and models to identify patterns in proxy voting and governance trends to make quantitative and qualitative assessments
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare insights and recommendations for clients
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field; and/or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of experience in research, data analysis, or capital markets-related role
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and manage multiple projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn quickly
- Proficient with Excel, familiarity with Python, and experience working with data
- Being comfortable working with analytical tools and large data sets
- Familiarity with executive compensation and governance practices, willingness, and ability to deepen this knowledge quickly through training
