Cloud Engineer – Shape the Future of Scalable, Secure Infrastructure at Hirevue

Are you passionate about building powerful cloud infrastructure that drives innovation and scales with purpose? At Hirevue, we’re looking for a Cloud Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a measurable impact on the future of hiring technology.

As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you’ll design, build, and optimize our cloud-native hosting environment on AWS, helping power seamless experiences for millions of users around the globe. You’ll work at the forefront of cloud technologies, partnering across engineering and product teams to create scalable, secure, and efficient systems that keep us one step ahead.

What You'll Do

• Architect and implement cloud-first solutions on AWS to support a rapidly growing global user base

  Build scalable infrastructure that meets performance and reliability demands

  Own operational excellence—optimize, maintain, secure, and migrate critical data systems

  Collaborate cross-functionally with development and product teams to deliver software from concept to production

  Ensure high availability and resilience of cloud systems through thoughtful design and monitoring

  Automate everything—from deployment to support—to increase efficiency and reduce downtime

  Explore and experiment with emerging technologies to drive continuous innovation

  Investigate and resolve incidents, implement root-cause fixes, and create long-term solutions

  Be part of the team—join on-call rotations and contribute to a collaborative, learning-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent preferred but not required

  4+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud solutions using AWS services, including but not limited to: EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53

  Experience deploying and maintaining various data sources for structured and unstructured data

  Creative problem solver with a passion for testing, debugging, and maintaining cloud infrastructure

  Willingness to learn and use new technologies

  Self-motivated and committed to delivering quality solutions

  Ability to adapt to a changing environment

  Effective communicator, works well in a team environment

  Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  Detail oriented with strong documentation skills

  Availability for delivery of a 24/7 service operation

This position is a work-from-home role. The individual in this role must be able to work from home in an environment free from distractions, where they can attend virtual video meetings. Some travel will be expected.
