Are you great at turning complex messages into something people actually understand and engage with?

Do you love shaping narratives, driving behaviour change, and bringing learning to life?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading financial services organisation that’s transforming how learning and development is experienced across the business — and they’re looking for a communications expert to help lead the way.

The Opportunity

The organisation has a strong learning offer and plenty of great content. The challenge now?

Ensuring people know about it, understand it, and want to use it.

As a Communication & Engagement Specialist, you’ll own the learning communications narrative — clarifying the value of learning, increasing engagement, and supporting a shift towards more decentralised, learner‑driven development.

This is a high‑visibility role where your work will make a real impact across a large, regulated organisation.

What You’ll Do

Create and deliver an organisation‑wide communications and engagement strategy for learning

Develop a clear, compelling narrative that explains what learning is available and why it matters

Turn complex ideas into simple, engaging messages

Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with senior learning leaders and key stakeholders

Influence direction, test ideas and align priorities

Build strong partnerships across HR, Internal Comms and the wider business

Campaigns & Delivery

Plan and deliver communications across multiple internal channels

Run targeted engagement campaigns to boost awareness and participation

Use engagement insights to refine and improve communications

Ensure messaging is consistent, on‑brand and compliant

Trusted Advisor

Act as a go‑to communications expert for the learning leadership team

Bring fresh thinking and external best practice

Operate confidently within a regulated financial services environment

About You

You’ll need:

Proven experience delivering internal communications in large, complex organisations

A strong track record of engagement or behaviour‑change campaigns

Confidence working with senior stakeholders

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle priorities

Nice to have:

Experience in learning, talent, HR or employee experience

Financial services or regulated environment exposure

Experience with digital channels and engagement analytics

Understanding of behaviour change or culture‑focused communications
