Job SummaryThe Strategic Insights & Competitive Intelligence team leads the design, execution, analysis, and presentation of market research and competitive intelligence for Cardinal Health’s medical device division. Our work supports the company’s strategic goals by evaluating market dynamics, emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and secondary data sources.This position will act as a market research consultant, managing internal inquiries related to customer and supplier perspectives. It will collaborate with various business units to generate and deliver meaningful insights that inform strategic decision-making.ResponsibilitiesChampion the Voice of the Customer (VOC) across the organization, fostering a customer-centric mindset in all initiatives.Manage relationships with third-party vendors and proactively identify opportunities to conduct primary research internally.Collaborate with customer-facing teams to integrate and synthesize customer insights across touchpoints.Partner cross-functionally to assess the competitive landscape and incorporate competitive intelligence into customerexperience analyses.Understand the organization’s diverse customer segments and tailor insights to reflect the unique needs of each.Design, program (using tools such as Sawtooth and Qualtrics), and execute primary research studies to support internal stakeholders.Develop clear, actionable reports and compelling data visualizations to communicate findings.Present research outcomes, strategic implications, and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.Maintain strong research design capabilities, including hypothesis generation and testing.Apply both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies appropriately, leveraging secondary and primary data sources.Utilize strong project management skills to ensure timely and effective execution of research initiatives.Apply analytical expertise to support data-driven decision-making across the business.Actively contributes to team collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred4+ years of experience in primary market research preferredExperience with survey platforms such as Sawtooth or Qualtrics is a plusProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and developing and delivering impactful PowerPoint presentationsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearlySkilled in data storytelling and translating insights into actionable recommendationsProven ability to manage projects independently and take initiativeTravel Expectations:
