Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Controller to lead MO’s accounting operations and financial compliance as we scale. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for running the company’s core accounting functions while building the financial infrastructure required for a growing federal government contractor.

The Controller will own day-to-day accounting operations including AR, AP, billing, general ledger, and financial close, while also supporting financial planning activities such as corporate budgeting, program EACs, and cash flow forecasting.

This role requires deep experience in GovCon accounting and strong proficiency with Unanet. The Controller will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure strong financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and scalable financial operations.

This role is remote-first. Candidates located in major GovCon hubs (e.g., Northern Virginia, DC Metro, Tampa, San Antonio, Colorado Springs, Huntsville) are strongly encouraged to apply. Periodic travel to Phoenix for leadership planning sessions may be expected.
