Corporate Sales Representative - Austin
Redis is a company that provides technology solutions for fast applications used by thousands of customers worldwide. They are seeking a Corporate Sales Representative to lead sales efforts in North America, focusing on prospecting, qualifying, pitching, and closing sales with mid-market companies. The role offers an opportunity for career growth within the sales domain.
Responsibilities
- Carry a designated quota for Net New Business revenue
- Establish Champions and Advocates over the phone and through web-conference
- Identify and nurture leads to generate and close opportunities
- Execute defined sales methodology (MEDDPIC) and commit revenue through intellectually honest forecasting
- Maintain clean CRM hygiene (SFDC)
- Partner with Marketing, SDR and Solutions Architects to quarterback sales processes in the most efficient and effective means
Skills
- 1+ years of experience on an Inside Sales team in a closing role
- Ability to capture the unique vision of what Redis does and inspire executive sales prospects and customers with a sense of what's possible
- Excellent communicator verbally and in writing
- Desire to win and play both tough and fair to achieve goals
- Understanding of competing as part of a team
- Track record of building, trying and learning new things
- Possess a point of view but maintain low ego
- This is a hybrid role out of our Austin, TX office, 4 days per week
- Prior experience with databases, infrastructure software, SaaS offerings
- Experience working closely with marketing and business development partners in a SaaS startup
- Prior experience in database technology, NoSQL tech, or software development
- Results-minded and able to capitalize on the diverse strengths of people around you to succeed
- Sales point of view that embraces technology
- Enjoyment in learning new things
- Experience working in an early-stage startup
