Are you a CPA with at least seven years of tax experience who can manage a team of professionals, review complex tax returns, perform tax research, has a wide-ranging tax background, and can develop/mentor staff, working hand-in-hand with entrepreneurial clients? We are a full-service CPA firm keenly focused on serial entrepreneurs and looking for an experienced CPA with strong tax skills interested in a permanent, full-time position involving tax return review, complex tax return preparation, state and international tax experience, and tax research experience, and a strong understanding of accounting working papers and how they integrate with tax.

The hours and schedule are very flexible, salary and benefits are extremely competitive, and we offer an array of other intangible benefits as well. You will NOT experience the typical "tax" season. Due to our client-mix , you will have a steady level of challenging work throughout the year; you will NOT be overworked because our client work is spread out evenly throughout the year.

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance (individual, corporate, partnership)

Experience with multi-entity structures and flow-through taxation

Ability to review complex returns, not just prepare them

Familiarity with tax planning strategies (not just compliance)

Staying current on tax law changes Review and Quality Control:

Ability to efficiently review staff workpapers and returns

Catch issues without over-reviewing or creating unnecessary rework

Provide clear, actionable review notes

Balance accuracy with efficiency Project Workflow and Management:

Managing multiple engagements simultaneously

Meeting deadlines across busy seasons

Delegating appropriately (not hoarding work or dumping it blindly)

Understanding realization and budgeting Client Communication and Taking Ownership

Ability to explain tax issues clearly (without jargon)

Managing expectations on fees and timelines

Handling difficult conversations (adjustments, surprises, billing)

Building client trust and retention Staff Development and Leadership:

Training and mentoring staff/seniors

Providing constructive feedback (not just corrections)
