Position Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and technically fluent Graphic Artist who can translate complex cybersecurity and IT concepts into compelling visual narratives. This role sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, and technical communication.

You will play a critical role in shaping how our services are understood—through diagrams, animations, presentations, and marketing collateral that make sophisticated security concepts intuitive and visually engaging.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Visualization & Illustration

Develop clear, engaging visual representations of cybersecurity concepts, architectures, and workflows

Translate technical inputs from engineers and leadership into diagrams, infographics, and visual models

Create reusable visual frameworks for MSS (Managed Security Services), threat detection, incident response, and governance concepts

Presentation & Slide Design

Design high-impact slide decks for:

Client presentations

Executive briefings

Government proposals

Internal strategy sessions

Ensure presentations are visually cohesive, persuasive, and aligned with Data Defenders’ brand

Animation & Motion Graphics

Develop short animations and motion graphics to explain:

Security processes (e.g., SOC operations, threat lifecycle)

Product/service workflows

Value propositions for non-technical audiences

Create explainer videos and animated visuals for marketing and sales enablement

Marketing & Collateral Design

Design brochures, one-pagers, whitepapers, and case studies

Create branded templates for consistent document production

Collaborate with leadership on proposal visuals and RFP responses

Brand Development & Consistency

Help evolve and maintain Data Defenders’ visual identity

Ensure consistency across all digital and print materials

Contribute to visual storytelling strategy across channels

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3–7+ years of professional design experience

Strong portfolio demonstrating:

Technical or conceptual illustration

Presentation design

Marketing collateral

Proficiency in tools such as:

Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects)

PowerPoint / Google Slides (advanced design capability required)

Ability to understand and visualize technical concepts (cybersecurity or IT experience strongly preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with cybersecurity, IT services, or engineering teams

Familiarity with:

Network diagrams

Security frameworks (NIST, Zero Trust, SOC workflows)

Motion graphics and animation expertise

Experience supporting government or enterprise proposals (RFPs)

Basic knowledge of UI/UX or web design
