Our client is a technology and services company dedicated to reducing barriers to care by improving the delivery of non-emergency medical transportation to people across America. Our client employs proprietary technology, paired with a nationwide network of vetted transportation providers. This enables payers and health systems to deliver cost-effective, on-demand transportation intelligently, enhancing the patient experience in the process. They serve the largest Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and provider programs in the country.

About the Role    

Our client is seeking a Credentialing Audit Supervisor to support audit readiness across the Credentialing function. This role ensures credentialing activities are completed accurately, timely, and in alignment with internal policies, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.

You will play a key role in reviewing credentialing work for quality and compliance, supporting internal and external audits, coordinating corrective action efforts, and preparing materials for Compliance stakeholders. This position directly impacts audit readiness, quality performance, and the effectiveness of our client’s credentialing operations.  

Job Responsibilities    

Perform quality audits and routine reviews of credentialing files and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance 

Identify trends, errors, and process gaps through ongoing quality assurance and audit activities 

Support internal and external audits by gathering documentation, preparing responses, and coordinating audit-related activities 

Track and coordinate corrective action plans related to audit findings, internal reviews, and compliance concerns 

Partner with credentialing leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues 

Prepare audit summaries, reports, and supporting materials for compliance and audit stakeholders 

Maintain organized records of audit findings, corrective actions, and follow-up activities 

Develop and update audit tools, workflows, quality review materials, and standard operating procedures 

Monitor adherence to credentialing standards, internal controls, and process requirements 

Communicate audit findings and trends clearly to leadership and stakeholders 

Support process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, consistency, and audit readiness 

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve credentialing-related issues and support operational goals   

Requirements

Required Qualifications:    

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare operations, credentialing, quality assurance, compliance, or a related field 

3+ years of experience in transportation provider credentialing (non-negotiable requirement)

3+ years of experience with provider data, quality assurance, auditing, or related functions 

Experience in Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) credentialing or a related healthcare field 

Working knowledge of credentialing workflows, file documentation standards, and compliance expectations 

Experience supporting audits, quality reviews, or monitoring activities 

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) and proficiency with Adobe for reporting and documentation 

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities 

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment   

Preferred Qualifications    

Experience managing or tracking corrective action plans 

Prior experience preparing materials for audits or compliance reviews 

Familiarity with credentialing or workflow systems 

Experience working in a high-growth or rapidly evolving environment
