CSJ 2026 - Digital Marketing Coordinator
Position Overview:
Penny Appeal Canada is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Coordinator. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing within the non-profit sector while supporting the organization’s mission. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the execution and optimization of digital campaigns across social media, email, and paid channels, while assisting with research, content publishing, and performance tracking.
Responsibilities:
Review and prepare market analysis of current digital marketing best practices
Conduct trend and competitor research to support campaign strategy
Assist with paid ad setup, monitoring, and basic optimization
Prepare, schedule, and publish organic content for Pinterest and Snapchat accounts
Support content planning and coordination across social media and email channels
Track and organize campaign performance data for reporting purposes
Ensure accuracy and consistency across all published content
Assist with general digital marketing and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
Familiarity with scheduling tools and email platforms (or willingness to learn)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Analytical mindset with basic Excel or Google Sheets skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Interest in digital marketing and fundraising
Previous experience (academic or personal projects) in marketing is an asset
