**Job Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service (Operations Support) Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, processing new business, and handling claims and other high-volume tasks. Your duties will include:

* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer profiles
* Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with clients, employers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders
* Organizing and working with detailed records to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
* Handling inbound phone calls and email correspondence from clients, employers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders
* Providing high-level customer service to all incoming inquiries, including resolving issues and referring complex matters to management
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement

**Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various personalities
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to gather accurate information and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
* Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop creative solutions
* Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work within a Windows-based environment
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Dependability, integrity, and compassion are essential for this role

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

* Experience in customer service or operations support, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
* Knowledge of preneed insurance solutions and the funeral industry
* Certification in customer service or a related field
* Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools
