Rocket Pest Control is an out of this world company looking for the best people to help us be the trusted choice in pest control. They are seeking a Customer Service Professional to deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage inbound and outbound calls, and assist with various customer service tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Handling and managing inbound/outbound customer service calls
  • Engaging customers in conversation to assess needs, qualify each call, and provide information about Rocket’s products and services in accordance with established call flow guidelines
  • Creating call-back service accounts and maintaining accurate records for current customers
  • Processing customer payments and applying them to the correct accounts
  • Scheduling inspections and/or quality-control visits for sales inspectors and technicians
  • Navigating multiple software programs simultaneously - entering data in real time, placing orders, searching existing accounts - all while maintaining a friendly, professional conversation
  • Documenting all customer interactions accurately in PestPac and forwarding them to appropriate departments
  • Accurately entering sales leads information into PestPac and scheduling appointments
  • Supporting digital communication channels by responding to customers via text or email
  • Assisting the Inside Sales team by handling inbound calls during peak high-volume periods
  • Resolving billing issues by researching concerns, offering appropriate resolutions, and applying credits or adjustments, when necessary
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the Branch and Service Managers, service professionals, administrative staff, and sales team
  • Fostering effective communication with branches to continually enhance overall customer experience
  • Demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, support customer satisfaction, and create positive interactions
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics and monthly development goals
  • Perform additional duties and projects, as assigned

Skills

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous customer service or inside sales experience is preferred
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills are required
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, data interpretation skills, and attention to detail
  • Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to multi-task and navigate multiple systems simultaneously, ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong relationship building skills; professional; results-oriented and team focused
  • Other Requirements: Reliable transportation
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening
  • Certified Customer Service Professional (CCSP)
  • Customer Service Certifications (CSC)
