Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through various communication channels, including voice calls, SMS, and email. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Answering customer inquiries and providing accurate and timely information to customers
- Resolving customer issues by listening attentively to their concerns, identifying their needs, and taking ownership of their issues until a resolution is reached
- Collaborating with other departments, such as scheduling, sales, and billing, to ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer issues
- Utilizing customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and resolve customer concerns
- Meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), such as average handle time, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction ratings
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all times
A significant portion of your shift (80-85%) will be dedicated to delivering exceptional support to customers in the queue. You'll have the opportunity to engage with customers through a range of communication channels, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using call center technology, including phone systems, call recording software, and customer relationship management (CDM) software
- A positive and friendly attitude, with a customer-focused mindset
- Access to a laptop or desktop and reliable high-speed internet
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:
- A minimum of 1+ year of experience in customer service
- Experience working in a call center or customer support environment
- Proficiency in using a webcam for training and coaching sessions

Schedule
As a Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you'll work a day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday a month required.
