Job Summary

As a Customer Support Specialist - Virtual/Remote, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch support to our customers via email and phone. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, working in a hybrid environment with the flexibility to work from our Clearwater, Florida or Knoxville, TN offices, or remotely. This is a full-time hourly role, offering a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Specialist - Virtual/Remote, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to Customer Inquiries: Provide timely and effective support to customers via email and phone, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Utilize your analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues and provide solutions.
  • Product Knowledge and Training: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our property management software solution, including its features and functionality.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Multitasking and Time Management: Prioritize and manage multiple customer inquiries and tasks simultaneously, meeting productivity and performance standards.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with product updates, industry trends, and best practices, making recommendations for process improvements and enhancements.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ Years of Experience: In a contact center environment, preferably in a customer support or service role.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Proven Multitasker: Ability to work in an omnichannel environment, prioritizing and managing multiple customer inquiries and tasks simultaneously.
  • Independent Problem Solver: A mindset for troubleshooting and resolving complex customer issues.
  • US Work Authorization: Ability to work in the US without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • ZenDesk Experience: Familiarity with ZenDesk or similar support desk systems.
  • Accounting and/or Property Management Terminology: Knowledge of accounting and/or property management concepts, terminology, and industry standards.
