About the Role
We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our internal Data Management team. As an Analytics Engineer, you will be part of the team transforming and delivering data for our Finance team use. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data marts, pipelines, and data processes. This role requires a blend of strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and an understanding of business processes.
For team alignment, we are prioritizing applicants on the East Coast.
What You’ll Do
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable data marts and transformation processes
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements
Develop and optimize data models and schemas to ensure data is stored efficiently and can be retrieved and analyzed quickly
Implement ETL processes and frameworks to transform raw data from multiple sources into structured formats suitable for analysis
Work closely with our internal Data, Architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of data systems
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, and look for opportunities for continuous improvement
Implement data quality checks and testing frameworks to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database and data warehouse systems
Experience building and deploying data processes in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Experience in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala)
Understanding of best practices in designing ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing
Bonus Skills
Experience with Databricks and Spark
Experience with Azure Cloud
Experience with Python or Kotlin
Experience with Salesforce data
Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar)

Compensation Transparency
Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.
In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.
