Areas of the role:
Building and maintaining a data platform for the public transport industry — designing scalable ELT pipelines in BigQuery using dbt, handling real-time data (GTFS-RT), and ensuring data quality and consistency across multiple transit agencies

Cloud data engineering — managing infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, BigQuery), implementing infrastructure as code (Terraform), and configuring multi-region environments

Analytics and data visualisation — building and developing QlikSense dashboards for end customers, processing and validating geospatial transit data, collaborating with the product team and non-technical stakeholders

 
What you need to join us:
Must have:
Experience with dbt and layered ELT modelling, as well as BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, performance tuning)

Strong Python skills — async services, data processing, API integrations

Familiarity with GTFS static and GTFS Real-time data formats

Experience with Qlik Sense or similar BI tools, and infrastructure as code (Terraform)

Experience with Git / GitHub in collaborative team environments

English - fluent

Ability to perform work in Poland (citizenship, residence card, visa, etc.)

Nice to have:
Knowledge of incremental load patterns in dbt or similar data pipeline frameworks

Geospatial analytics using BigQuery GIS functions

Background in transit, mobility, or IoT-related data domains
