The role  

As a Data Engineer, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 3-5 years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact. 

You will thrive in this role if you are:

Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) 

Role responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines, primarily leveraging SQL

Develop and optimize complex queries to support analytics and reporting needs

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across multiple data sources

Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into data solutions

Support experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and data validation

Work with analytics teams to deliver datasets used in dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Metabase or similar)

Communicate insights effectively through data storytelling, tailoring messages for non-technical audiences

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a client-facing consulting environment

Contribute to best practices in data modeling, documentation, and governance

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 

Solid experience working as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role

Advanced proficiency in SQL 

Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations

Understanding of data modeling concepts

Experience working with stakeholders to define data requirements

Strong communication skills, including the ability to present data to non-technical audiences

Nice to have qualifications  

Experience with dashboarding/BI tools (e.g., Metabase or similar)

Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, or statistics

Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)

Experience in a client-facing or consulting role

Knowledge of data storytelling and visualization best practices
