Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Administrative Assistant to join our remote team on a part-time basis. The primary focus of this role is to accurately input, manage, and maintain critical company data across various platforms. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proficient with office software, and can reliably manage workflow in an unsupervised, remote environment. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our company records.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately inputting large volumes of data from source documents into computer systems (databases, spreadsheets, and specific software).
- Verifying data for errors, inconsistencies, or redundancies, and correcting information as needed to ensure data integrity.
- Preparing, sorting, and scanning documents for data entry.
- Organizing and maintaining digital files, folders, and records according to established naming conventions and internal procedures.
- Assisting with light administrative tasks such as scheduling, managing virtual correspondence, and compiling basic reports as requested by management.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of all sensitive company and client information.
- Communicating effectively with team members regarding project status and potential data issues.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in a data entry or administrative role is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Demonstrated high-speed typing and 10-key proficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and/or Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs).
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work productively in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
Technical Requirements (Must Have)
- Reliable high-speed internet connection.
- A dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions.
- Personal computer with a webcam and microphone capable of running required software.
Schedule Notes: This is a part-time role requiring approximately 20 hours per week. Flexible scheduling is possible, but core availability during standard business hours (e.g., 10 AM - 3 PM EST) may be required for team meetings and urgent tasks.
