Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Data Consultant to partner with an enterprise insurance client and drive large-scale data migration and transformation initiatives.
• This is not a backend delivery role—it is a high-impact, client-facing consulting role where you will:
• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders
• Lead strategy discussions and solutioning workshops
• Drive data migration decisions and execution

Data Migration & Engineering Expertise

Extensive experience in large-scale data migration programs

Strong proficiency in:
• Python, SQL
• ETL/ELT frameworks

Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred):
• BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage

Deep understanding of:
• Data modeling
• Data validation & reconciliation
• Distributed data processing

AI & Innovation Mindset

Experience or strong understanding of AI/GenAI applications in data engineering or migration

Ability to identify automation opportunities and drive innovation

Domain Experience (Preferred)

Experience in Insurance domain:
• Policy, claims, underwriting, billing systems
• Understanding of domain-specific data challenges

Leadership & Ownership
• Proven ability to lead complex programs with multiple stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
