Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from various teams to guide them towards better decision-making using available data.
  • Drive data and insights through effective communication with partners and teams, ensuring that all stakeholders can utilize insights to drive business forward.
  • Maintain a customer-centric focus while being a domain and product expert through data, fostering trust among peers and ensuring that teams and projects have access to data-driven insights.
  • Manage ambiguous issues and adapt tools to address complex questions, identifying trade-offs between speed and quality of various approaches.
  • Develop logical frameworks to measure team success by collaborating with teams to establish progress metrics, create approaches to track data and analyze errors, and measure and evaluate data to develop a common language for all stakeholders.
  • Operationalize data processes to provide partners with ad-hoc analysis, automated dashboards, and self-service reporting tools, ensuring that everyone has a clear understanding of the business's state.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of domain experience in a consumer web business or a high-growth, high-development product or team.
  • Expert SQL skills and proficiency in Python/R.
  • Experience using data to drive business outcomes and create insights.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and communication around data, including time series analysis, experimentation, data visualization, and defining KPI strategy for your business.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to maintain relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for online communities, gaming, and Twitch.
  • Experience in Operational Excellence, defining metrics, and analysis reporting.
  • Experience working with software development and operational event data.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques, such as logistic regression, decision trees, and neural networks.
