They are seeking a SQL Database Administrator to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and document SQL Database Management systems software while providing critical support for mission systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and document SQL Database Management systems software
  • Work independently and as part of a core group of Systems Programmers/Specialists providing 24x7x365 support on mission critical systems software

Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Administration
  • Experience in Database Administration on Windows environment
  • Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell, C#, Java, JavaScript, BASH, Perl, or Python etc
  • Experience with Performance Tuning, Troubleshooting, Installing, and Configuration of Databases
  • Experience with Database Clusters, Database Migrations, Database Backup, Restore and Disaster Recovery
  • Experience with any other RDBMS Software such as MySQL, Sybase, Db2, Oracle, etc
  • Experience in Database Administration on Linux or Unix environments
  • Experience in Cloud Computing Technologies such as Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Experience in Azure DevOps Services
  • Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC), and Project Management Principles
